It’s early Sunday morning, and outside, there is a thin silver frosting on all the many surfaces of the earth.  The temperature on my thermostat reads 57 degrees.  I am dressed in layers, fleece pants, two long sleeve shirts, a pair of fingerless gloves.  By my side, the fireplace is working overtime.  If there was a tree in my yard springing forth beautiful color, or if there were pumpkins on my doorstep, or hot chocolate cooking on the stove, I might think fondly of fall.  But today, it just seems cold, and sad, and quiet…  And so, I thought it would be a good day to take you back in time.  Many will remember that D and I took a trip to Maine, and the east coast this past September.  I haven’t had time, until now, to post the photos.  Let’s relive the glory of those summer days…
