Good Garden Friday

July 6, 2012

{good garden friday}

a moment for us to share in the garden spaces that bring us joy, inspiration and self-sufficiency.

Today’s post is my chance to share with you more bits of my garden.  It may be that Good Garden Fridays have run their course, as we currently have no more submissions.  And that’s okay with me if it’s okay with you.  I can, I think, gracefully bow out, if you so wish.  So, as an ending, I’m sharing more photos of my garden.

If you would like to keep this friday fun going, please send photos (jpegs) of and any accompanying words/stories about the garden spaces that bring you joy.

I will be happy to keep going for as long as you would like!  See you Monday!

    Luscious and facinating photos—I vote for you to continue. Someone else may give you a break now and then.

    i agree with grandma and i wish i was that ‘someone’. but i dont have anything! i know i have no excuses, just because we dont have a yard doesnt mean i cant grow something. caleab and i have been discussing container gardening and other options, i just need a kick in the butt to get started. anyway, even if your good garden fridays continue to be just your garden in the mean time, i love seeing how it is progressing! (p.s. i cant wait to eat some of your garden, too! i know my lunch plans involve a very big salad!!)

      i guess what i’m saying is that i can’t continue this project if there are no photos submitted. and that’s okay. so many things have natural timelines and transitions. it couldn’t last forever. and although i really enjoy this space of reflection and would love for it to continue, i understand that all good things must come to an end. the only way to salvage that is for others to be willing to submit, and i can’t beg, or ask more than what others have already generously given.

      so, thank you to all who have participated. it has meant so much! and if it’s meant to continue, it will. and if not, then it was so beautiful while it lasted. :)

    Your photos are always so beautiful and inspiring! I would love it if you continued this. I will try to send you some more pics of my garden asap. Things have been crazy since the blackout so we are a little behind with everything right now.
