i don’t buy it

October 12, 2012

d and i were eating dinner with the girls.  family dinner time is always amusing.  there’s often a lot of crying.  but once in a while, there’s something ridiculously funny.  to set this video up, i made avocado chocolate pudding for d and adelaide.  for those who don’t know, this kind of pudding is a raw version, made in a blender, with very few whole food ingredients.  no milk or dairy or sugar.

where she got this from, i don’t know.  we served the pudding and d said something like, ‘mmm, try it. it’s good! there’s no sugar added!’
and well, you can see what follows…

It’s easy. 2 ripe avocados. 1 banana. 1/3 cup raw cacao powder. 5 tablespoons water. 1 teaspoon vanilla. and then, you probably want to sweeten it. you can use honey, agave nectar, dates… whatever works to get it to the desired sweetness. put all this in a blender and blitz. the high powered blenders work best for a super creamy pudding texture.

I had as much fun watching Dan as watching Adelaide. This is so funny.
