About

I live in Ohio under the gray sky.

Thunderstorms are amazing.  I like to stand in the breeze on a July night and feel the cool drops of rain against my skin.

I secretly hoard fabric and yarn.  I like texture and color.  In a yarn shop, I run my hand along all the aisles and skeins, searching for something that makes my fingertips squeal.  I like dashes of bold and bravery among the subdued.  I hunt for patterns that make me feel alive.

Flowers amuse me, in the way a painter is amused by a happy accident.  This is my garden, happy and accidental.  And, I love bringing bits of it indoors.

Every June is strawberry jam season.

Family is my keystone.  Without it, nothing in my life could stand the test of time.  It would crumble around my feet.

I am an occasional writer, and I am more than happy to share those bits with you.

… can you think of anything else? I know I can’t. :)
