a typical morning

nothing is ever really typical.  but so many people wonder what i do all day.  sometimes i’m not even sure.  ‘really? it’s the end of the day already? what did i accomplish?’ here are some scenes from a recent morning, just before nap and lunch time.  this day started at 5:30.  so, see. that’s not typical. any way…

{breakfast time. this morning it’s prunes and oatmeal.}

{story time. and play time. one of her favorite books is The Big Red Barn by Margaret Wise Brown.  i think it’s because she’s obsessed with animal noises.}

{torture the cat who is so desperate for love, she willingly takes it. good kitty.}

{many many diaper changes. we’re fighting a rash right now.  so, only noncommercial spray and lots of diaper cream for this little bottom.}

in the evenings, i have been working hard to be productive craft-wise and i hope to have some projects to share with you soon.  until then, enjoy the beauty of today!
